I was really hoping to have her home with me today but there were some complications with her surgery. The vet called me at 3am last night and told me they opened her up but couldn’t find what they thought they would, they couldn’t find anything. They think it’s passed through her (whatever it was) but I don’t understand how they don’t know that for sure 😞. She had troubles after her surgery upon waking up and was very sick, throwing up a lot and not handling it well. She has now also formed ileus due to her abdominal surgery. They have taken her for an additional cat scan tonight but she’s still hospitalized at the moment. Luka won’t stop looking around the house for her 😞 I think it’ll be another 24 hours atleast until she’s potentially given the all clear to come home but it seems like one thing after another keeps happening. So far my bills exceed over $9500 and there’s not an end in sight. I am truly beyond devastated this has happened - and I know doing the surgery was probably the best thing in case but I just can’t believe they didn’t even find anything after telling me there was definitely something there and I still have to forfeit the cost.
