Added 2022-09-26 20:37:49 +0000 UTCOkay, so my surgery turned out to be a tough one for my doctor, but honestly, I’m so glad the original doctors office failed to complete the paperwork correctly causing my insurance company to deny my surgery and me to have to cancel my surgery scheduled in June. This new doctor is the BEST doctor I’ve ever had and I’m so glad he’s the one who performed my surgery.
Basically, he said one of my fibroids attached to a vessel close to an artery and he had to separate that one and detach that by itself, but he was able to do so without too many issues and got me closed up. He also told me he “pulled a bowling ball out of me,” if that gives you any idea of how big my fibroids and uterus were.
I’m so thankful this HELL is finally over. 80% of all women get fibroids in their life, but only about 20% or so have complications from forbids requiring surgery. I was one of those unlucky 20%. However, they only form in the uterus and now that I don’t have one anymore, I’ll NEVER get fibroids again.
