Story of the day 💙 dunno if you guys can relate but probably. When I put stuff for me and my well-being, long term benefit activities to the side and just work work work. I can burn out or fatigue, and I might reach for something quick like shopping to give myself a boost.

When I work a lot the mental battery can run low, and I may have less self control or discipline. And I want to reach for something to give myself that enjoyment or boost. But its best when my life has more balance and I spend the time and energy to make sure I am supported with activities that help not only short term but long term, like exercise, having healthy foods ready, going on walks, meditation etc. But I think we all have times where maybe we get busy and things for ourselves can fall down on the list a bit. And at those times I find i feel tired or mentally fatigued but the key is to recognize it. And then slow but sure get back on track.

Each day is new and you can change the course of a day too. But really i think the key is just being aware and noticing if I'm working too much, and taking action to take time for things that support me.

It's kind of weird to have to remind myself that having healthy foods and having meals ready for myself should be a PRIORITY. Like of course feeding myself is a priority but sometimes it gets to oh one more thing, one more video, one more task, and my fridge is empty and I'm hungry. But I just keep working on remembering my priorities and recognizing what helps me feel and perform my best.
